Major stages of development

Projects at Apprica can be broken down into four main stages.

The Initial Concept:

It all starts with your idea.  Our team will meet with you and absorb your vision, getting to know exactly what you want out of your mobile application and brainstorming some initial ideas.  We’ll go over what kinds of features you want to include, some possible design options, and really start to understand the best way to go about building your mobile app.  Our development team will then come up with a proposal for your approval, including the basics like timeline, budget, and detailed features to be included.  Once the foundation is in place, we can move on to the building stage.

Building the Framework

The next step in mobile app development is actually building a framework and expanding the features.  Once the concept is taken care of, it’s all handed over to our team of developers and designers to design the user interface, code the functionality of the features, and all other creative and technical components of your mobile application.  This stage is the most technical of them all but we will work closely with you every step of the way to keep you updated on what we’re doing.

The Updates

Letting you and your company know what we’re doing is a great way for you to stay up-to-date and oversee each and every stage of development.  That’s where deliverables come in.  We will send you updates throughout the duration of the project, including from mockups of design elements and progress updates to test versions of  the application.

The Launch

Launching your application is one of the most important parts of the process, and here at Apprica we have the knowledge required to make each and every step a breeze.  We build applications with the guidelines app stores in mind to ensure that when the time to submit comes, your mobile application will be accepted into marketplaces like the Apple App Store and the Android Marketplace.
